The Clay Paky Mythos 2 features a new and reliable Osram Sirius HRI 440W lamp, which ensures the extraordinary performances that have made the success of MYTHOS worldwide. Mythos 2 is an excellent spotlight, which produces an outstanding large light beam, featuring a zoom that ranges from 4° to 50° (1:12 ratio).
The light beam is sharp, with perfectly defined edges, from the first millimetres after the front lens right along its entire length. The zoom is optimized for focusing, which is separate from that of the fixed and rotating gobos.
Its movements are smooth, fast and very quiet. Mythos 2 also features an indexed visual effect disc, which may be superimposed on all the gobos, both in and out of focus. But Mythos 2 is also an extraordinary beam light, allowing you to switch to a minimum fixed beam angle of just 2.5°.
A large, very dense, 160 mm-diameter light beam leaves the Mythos’s front lens and remains parallel for its entire length even at great distances. Mythos 2 is a very versatile tool, which is useful in any situation and therefore an excellent investment.
The Robe Pointe can project a static or rotating glass gobo to produce precision in-air and surface images with an even focal plane. Tight or at full 20 degree zoom, the output is crystal clear and brilliant.
Add in either rotating, 6 way linear or 8 way circular prisms to create wide reaching effects across any set. Drop in the frost filter and use any of the 13 rich colours to create a smooth even wash.
The Pointe has an output far greater in size, quality and power than seems possible from it’s small, lightweight body – due to the efficient short arc 280 W discharge source and the Robe optical configuration. This new technology fixture even travels efficiently in a case of 4 and will cover all your needs – Beam, Spot, Wash, FX.
The Clay Paky Sharpy is a 189W moving beam light with an unprecedented brightness usually achievable only with far greater wattages. Weighing just 16 kg, the Sharpy produces a perfectly parallel, laser-like beam with an incredible output of 59,760 lx at 20m (5,100 footcandles at 65 ft).
The Sharpy is also groundbreaking for the purity of its beam, which is sharply defined and free of any halo or discoloration around the edges. It offers 14 different colors and 17 gobos, allowing you to change the shape of the beam and create an array of spectacular mid-air effects.
The Chauvet Rogue R2 Wash is a valuable addition to rental and production inventories. Durable and dependable, this moving wash workhorse produces a bright, powerful light and offers five zones of LED control to pixel map its 19 (15 W) RGBW quad-LEDs.
A standout zoom range of 12° to 49° gives it the spread to cover even the largest areas. Smooth color mixing, simple and complex DMX channel profiles and powerCON in and out are just some of the other features that make this fixture a standout performer in any setting.
